We are now working with this award-winning restaurant pub with rooms based near Newmarket in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. We are seeking a candidate with extensive restaurant management experience, as AM you will be required to set the example for impeccable customer service and know how to lead by example.
As Assistant Manager you will be a visible and active leader within the team meeting the needs of all guests in the absence of the General Manager. You will lead an efficient and effective team and actively manage the smooth day to day running of the pub/restaurant. You will actively take part in the rostering, being the key contact for both guests and team members in the absence of the General Manager. You will also provide input to developing and meeting agreed financial targets and ensuring that the guest experience is always at the highest level.
The Responsibilities -
Day to Day Management of lunch, and dinner services
Maintaining the highest levels of customer service
Deputising for the GM
Ensuring allergens are always up to date and available for guest requests.
Recruiting, Training and Developing of all staff.to increase turnover and profitability.
Implementing and managing all standard operating procedures.
Continually Improving and maintaining high-quality Customer Service.
