We are working with the amazing folk over at The Feed to find a fantastic new Manager to oversee the operations both kitchen and Front of House at the busy Waterloo Park Cafe.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Manager to oversee our cafe operation at Waterloo Park in Norwich. This pivotal role requires a strong leader with a passion for cooking, service and team management. The Café (Hub) Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the café operations, maintaining high standards of food preparation, customer service and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of cooking skills, supervisory experience, and the ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily kitchen and front of house operations, ensuring great customer service, efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Manage preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes. Some days you will be hands-on in the kitchen.
Lead and motivate staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration to achieve operational goals.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation the site.
Requirements
Proven experience in a cooking role, with confidence to prepare our simple menu.
Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food industry.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
