Bread Hospitality has teamed up with this fantastic restaurant with rooms on the Stunning Suffolk Coast. We are looking to find an exceptional and established Head Chef to build and develop a team to offer a unique menu offering the best local produce available at the highest standard. This venue is aiming to be the best of its kind in Suffolk!
The ideal candidate would be a real ‘foodie’ with a strong background in creating exciting menus using local suppliers and creating stunning dishes.
You will be involved in the design and layout of the kitchen and trading areas which are being developed along with 8 new letting rooms. We are seeking an ambitious individual who has a wide range of culinary skills which include butchery and pastry. You would be required to show an exceptional financial understanding of kitchen management and GP controls.
The Responsibilities….
Full day to day management of the kitchen
Full menu creation
You must possess excellent culinary and presentation skills.
Managing a full kitchen team – briefing, supervising, and motivating team members.
Great back-office knowledge when it comes to stock management, recruitment, training and development and other management duties.
Having the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
