We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead by example for this vibrant pub and restaurant on the North Norfolk coast. The award-winning restaurant works closely with local fishermen, farmers, and butchers to showcase the best seasonal produce, from salt marsh-fed beef to freshly caught seafood that literally travels metres to the kitchen door.
As Head Chef, you will design creative seasonal pub themed menus, recruit, and mentor kitchen staff, and ensure high standards in taste, presentation, and consistency. You’ll oversee kitchen operations, including stock management, cost control, and compliance with health and safety regulations, while working closely with the General Manager to maintain a motivated team.
