We’re on the hunt for a Head of Venue Operations to lead and manage all aspects of this high-volume venue. This role is crucial in fostering an inclusive, wellbeing-focused environment, ensuring a safe working atmosphere, and maintaining superior customer service standards. You’ll oversee events, ensure compliance with all operational legislative requirements, and identify opportunities to enhance revenue streams.
The Role:
Lead and promote an inclusive culture aligned with the companies EDI campaign.
Advocate for safe working practices and nurture a culture where safeguarding is a collective responsibility.
Supervise the delivery of all events, including staffing and budgets
Foster a customer service-oriented team and oversee the training of delivery staff.
Serve as the primary contact for the Safety Advisory Group
Lead engagement initiatives
Ensure compliance with operational legislative requirements and maintain accurate, up-to-date certifications.
Identify and capitalise on opportunities to maximise revenue, managing tenants leasing or renting office space as well as implementing effective financial controls
Oversee Health and Safety training
The Person:
Extensive experience managing large-scale public events, particularly in logistical venue management and operations.
Proficient knowledge of venue security, with experience working with safety advisory groups.
Demonstrated success in leading a multi-functional department.
Strong customer service orientation with a proven track record of upholding high standards among operational staff.
Experience in implementing Health and Safety protocols.
Experience in budget management, meeting deadlines, and working within financial constraints.
