I’m looking for a Head Sommelier to deal with all aspects of the wine service to ensure that guest expectations are exceeded.
As Sommelier, you will be required to develop the wine list, manage the wine cellar, stock control and ensuring the wine cellar is always clean and tidy. You will also help to set the example for impeccable customer service and build great rapport with both guests and the staff. You will know what ‘great service’ is and be able to deliver this day in, day out. You will have a proven track record of being able to use your own initiative to add the ‘wow factor’ and delight the guests whilst at the same time being sensitive to the commercial needs of the business.
The Person –
A qualified sommelier with certification to prove
Enjoy working in a small team
Have a genuine passion for hospitality
Be passionate with excellent communication skills
Possess excellent food, wine, and service knowledge
Have experience in high level of service establishments
Have a strong knowledge of food and beverage pairings
Be extremely self-motivated and well organised
