We're delighted to be working with this fantastic Cambridge College to help them find their next kitchen manager to lead their wonderful team. It's all about organisation and people management. You'll keep on top of all compliance and paperwork whilst supporting the team, allowing them to perform to their best ability.
What You’ll Be Doing
Working with the kitchen team to plan exciting, seasonal menus
Making sure there's a great offering for all diets (vegan, gluten-free, etc.)
Leading and supporting the team of talented chefs and kitchen staff
Keeping a close eye on food costs and suppliers
Ensuring top-notch food safety and hygiene standards
Keeping things consistent, tasty, and well-presented every time
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience managing a busy kitchen (or similar leadership role)
Great people skills and a passion for good food
A Health & Hygiene Level 2 Certificate
Strong organisation and time management
A flexible, positive attitude – and ideally, a good sense of humour
Bonus points if you’ve got experience with allergen awareness or food cost tracking systems.
