Pub Operator, £50'000, Norwich

We’re seeking an experienced and dedicated Pub Operator to manage and lead the operations of a well-established local pub just five miles outside of Norwich who has ambition to take the venue to new heights! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to create a thriving, community-focused business. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the pub, ensuring smooth service and high standards.

  • Manage staff, including recruitment, training, and development.

  • Create and implement business strategies to increase revenue and profitability.

  • Foster a welcoming environment for customers, focusing on excellent service and experience.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing, and financial regulations.

  • Drive marketing initiatives to promote the pub and increase footfall.

  • Engage with the local community to understand customer needs and improve offerings.


What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in managing a high-end pub or hospitality venue.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and profit/loss accounts.

  • Passion for customer service and building community relationships.

  • Knowledge of licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
