This stunning high volume Premium Dining Pub on the Suffolk Coast is looking for a senior chef who can offer a unique menu using the best local produce available at the highest standard. You’re on the doorstep of some of the best ingredients the region has to offer, from wild, sustainable oysters to free range pork and beautiful veg grown in the onsite allotment which allows you the freedom to develop your own style all whilst working directly with the hands-on owners. Being a strong leader is a must as you will assist with the training and development of your current team, help to recruit new talent and ensure that the health and safety aspect is taken care of too. You would be required to show an exceptional financial understanding of kitchen management and GP controls within this well-equipped kitchen. The Role….
Full day to day management of the kitchen
Menu creation & development in collaboration with the owners
You must possess excellent culinary and presentation skills.
Managing a full kitchen team – briefing, supervising and motivating team members.
Business and management savvy
Having the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Up to date compliance with health and safety
